Privacy Policy — SignelIX Languages

Signelix Languages (“the app”) helps you study vocabulary and language content. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account information: username and email (via AWS Cognito) when you sign in.
• Learning data: word list progress, per-word review stats, and app preferences stored on our servers.
• Content you upload or generate: word lists and stories you upload or create with AI features, stored in our cloud storage (AWS S3).
• Technical data: API requests authenticated with your account token; we do not sell your data.

How we use data

We use your data to provide authentication, sync your lists and progress across devices, and run AI-assisted features (via OpenAI) when you request them.

Third-party services

• AWS (Cognito, S3, hosting)
• OpenAI (story and list generation when you use those features)

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Delete account on the home screen). This removes your Cognito login, server profile, progress, and files under your user folder in our storage.
